Have something great you're no longer using? Bring it to 611. Your contributions go straight onto our shelves and to someone who can use them.
611 is a different kind of resource, with new and like-new clothing, household goods, essentials, and food all in one place, arranged more like a boutique than a traditional resource program. People can come in, find what they need, and shop without unnecessary hoops to jump through.

If bringing items isn't the right fit, you can make a monetary Donation to help 611 purchase the essentials we need most.
A Quick Reminder-
Please don't leave donations outside the building.
We know it's often meant to be helpful, but unattended donations create a safety hazard, and may be damaged by weather before volunteers are able to bring them inside. The best way to help is to drop off your donations during our scheduled drop-off hours.
Thoughtful donations help us make the best use of our volunteers' time and keep the Free Store welcoming, organized, and ready for the next person.

Essential Items Needed Every Month
CONTRIBUTE TO 611
Every shopping family gets to choose four High-Need Essentials. Volunteers do, too.
Each month, we welcome up to 90 shopping families and 70 volunteers through our door giving them access to shopping the Free Store, as well as their choice of four items from our High-Need Essentials list. That’s up to 640 essential items every month moving directly from our shelves into people’s homes.
We need your help keeping those shelves stocked.
The Things People Ask For Most-
Laundry detergent. Toilet paper. Paper towels.
They aren't glamorous. They are just really, really useful.
These are some of the most requested items at 611, and they move quickly. SNAP benefits don't cover household supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, or toiletries. For many households, these expenses still have to come out of the same budget that covers everything else.
At 611, these essentials are part of the shopping experience.
640. That Sounds Like a Lot of Laundry Detergent.
With up to 160 people shopping or volunteering each month and four High-Need Essentials available to each person, we can go through up to 640 essential items every month.
That's why your contribution matters. One package helps. A case helps even more.
All High-Need Essentials must be new and unopened.

You can set up a recurring delivery to 611 and help keep our essentials stocked month after month.

HELP STOCK THE PANTRY
A bag of coffee. A jar of peanut butter. A bottle of cooking oil. These are everyday items many of us reach for without thinking, but they can make a big difference for someone else.
If you'd like to help stock our pantry, we're always looking for:

Please only contribute the items listed so we can provide all of our shoppers with the same experience. Pantry contributions must be unopened, unused, and unexpired. Items that don't meet these requirements have to be thrown away.
Low-Need Essentials
These items help fill the Free Store shelves and meet the individual needs that come up from household to household. Every shopping day, these items move.
They may not be needed by everyone, but every shopping day, these items move. When you contribute from this list, you’re helping us keep those shelves full and filling more the individual household needs of those who shop at 611.
All personal items must be new and unopened.
