Six Eleven’s 2nd Annual Holiday Meal Drive is here!
Before 611 was officially 611 Collective, our founder started with a holiday meal drive. No name, no official organization, just an idea and a belief in what we could do together. That first year, we helped provide over 70 holiday meals. This year, we’re doing it again, and we want you to be part of it!
HOW TO HELP: We’re collecting complete holiday meal kits November 10–17th, and we need your help filling those boxes!
1. SHOP– Use the shopping list on our flyer to purchase the ingredients for one complete holiday meal at the store of your choice. Download the Printable Flyer
2. PACK
Put everything on the list 3. DROP OFF NOVEMBER 10-17th
Bring your completed meal kit, in one sturdy box or bag, during 611 drop off hours, found here.
Please remember: We’re collecting complete meal kits, not individual items, so every box is ready to go!
NOT UP FOR A SHOPPING TRIP? YOU CAN STILL HELP!
Starting November 1, you can:
Donate a $50 grocery gift card. Drop it in the 611 mailbox anytime. Please write the card’s value on the card itself.
Donate below, select ing the 611 Holiday Meal fund, and we’ll purchase a grocery gift card for you.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once collection wraps up, we’ll count all completed meal kits, grocery gift cards, and monetary donations to determine how many holiday meals we can provide.
Then, people eligible to shop at 611 who would like a holiday meal can sign up for a pickup appointment. We’ll share signup details once we’ve confirmed what’s available.
Last time, we started with an idea and helped provide over 70 meals. This year, let’s see what we can do together.
One idea. A whole lot of meals. Let’s do it again.
