No catch. No income requirements.

The store exists because our 611 Friends choose to share what they have. Clothing, household goods, everyday essentials, and food are made available at no cost, helping meet real needs while keeping useful resources in circulation.

At 611 we're rooted in mutual aid. The 611 Free Store is a program of 611 Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, located in Evanston, IL. The people who shop here are also the people who volunteer, contribute, attend events, and help keep 611 going. Everyone has a part in 611, and everyone is welcome to be a 611 Friend.
